Cash should be under body belt, only amounts that are to be used should be in pockets and purse
Any directions should be taken from persons in authority
You should know when the sun rises and sets
If exposed to danger, scream and run, do not be forced into a car etc.
Know how to use a pay telephone (If a mobile phone is not at hand) and have the proper change or tokens
Learn a few phrases in the local language or have them handy in written form so that you can signal your need for police or medical help
Make a note of emergency telephone numbers you may need: police, fire, your hotel, and your embassy or consulate
